For the second time in less than a week in the very same area,  an overturned tractor trailer on Interstate 40 in Roane County shutdown the eastbound lanes around mile marker 342 this morning.

Tennessee Highway Patrol says there are injuries, but there is no word on how severe.

THP says the accident involved two tractor trailers.

Eastbound traffic is slow with one lane open.

TDOT reports westbound traffic is not affected, and the accident should be clear by noon.
