Legendary East Tennessee Radio icon Billy Kidd (Bill Winningham) was laid to rest today in his hometown of Livingston Tennessee.  Billy loved his biker friends and they loved him and showed it with a 100-mile bike procession from Knoxville to Livingston.  CNF captured the ride along I-40 as they reached Cumberland County on video and with the help of Bills friends, gathered more photos and video to produce the following send-off video for Billy Kidd.  WIMZ aired a special tribute Friday afternoon using Billy’s “Friday at 5 mashup song” “I Love Rock n Roll” and inserted clips from Billy throughout.  We used that audio from WIMZ to produce the send-off video.  Bill Winningham was a good friend of mine going back more than 30 years and we enjoyed many good times on the radio together.  I will miss my friend Bill Winningham.
