WHERE TO GO TO GET TESTED FOR CORONAVIRUS IN EAST TN EVEN IF YOU ARE SYMPTOM FREE

The Knox Co. Health Dept. is doing free COVID-19 at the Jacob Building in Chilhowee Park on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There may be days when testing cannot occur because of a prior booking in the space, and KCHD will communicate if that happens.

At times, the line may be cut prior to 3 p.m. to ensure staff members have time to process the tests and get them to the lab.

Tuesdays and Thursdays will be reserved for targeted testing events.

Testing is free, but insured individuals must bring their insurance card. We recommend that children be seen by their primary care physician (PCP), but we will attempt to test all age children. If they are not cooperative, we will refer them to their PCP.
