CNF contacted VEC regarding delinquent pay-as-you-go accounts and asked if there is a specific date that the people would be shut off. A supervisor for VEC, David Murphy, stated that disconnects will begin tomorrow morning, June 2, 2020 and the people with the largest outstanding bill will be shut off first. Then the shutoffs will continue from largest accounts to the smallest.

CNF was further advised that delinquent pay-as-you-go propane and natural gas accounts will most likely work the same way. Click here for volunteer energy info
