Charles Southern Jr. of Knoxville was driving on Genesis Road when he lost control of his mini-van, ran off the road and plummeted down a forty foot embankment and killed  On the Morgan County side of Genesis Road there are some stretches of road which are dangerously close to high drop-offs.  Southern was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck and investigating officers did not believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
