PRESIDENT TRUMP DECLARES TN A DISASTER, APPROVES FEDERAL FUNDING FOR CERTAIN COUNTIES

President Trump has declared a disaster in the State of Tennessee and has ordered federal aid following the February floods.

According to a press release from the Office of the Press Secretary, federal funding is available on a cost-sharing basis for emergency work for the following near-by counties:  Bledsoe, Blount, Fentress, Jackson, Morgan, Overton, Rhea, Roane, Scott,  Sequatchie, and Van Buren.  Other Tennessee Counties include: Bedford,   Campbell, Carter, Cheatham, Claiborne, Clay, Cocke, Coffee, Decatur, Dekalb, Dickson, Dyer,  Gibson, Giles, Grainger, Greene, Hamblen, Hamilton, Hancock, Hardin, Hawkins, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys,  Jefferson, Johnson, Knox, Lake, Lauderdale, Lewis, Lincoln, Marion, Marshall, McNairy, Moore,  Obion, Perry,  , Robertson,   Sevier, Smith, Tipton, Unicoi, Union,  Warren, and Wayne.
