SHOULD TN PASS A LAW MAKING DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME PERMANENT? TAKE THE SURVEY HERE
Ricky Shelton, Mayor of Cookeville, has posted the following message on the City of Cookeville’s Facebook Page regarding the current proposal in the state Legislature making Daylight Saving Time year-round. Mr. Shelton is going to, apparently, make the poll results known to State Representative Windle in the House. We thought we’d add the survey here so our readers could also offer an opinion. So far the majority of comments on the post have been in favor of making DST year-round. Here is the post from Cookeville’s Mayor:
TN HB 257/SB 1100 seeks to establish daylight saving time as the standard time in Tennessee. The legislation will be heard in the TN House Finance, Ways, and Means and Senate State and Local Government committees on April 16, 2019.
