The 8th annual Pro Troop Rally is set for Friday morning, Independence Day,  at 9am Downtown Crossville.  The Rally will feature special singing by area artists, speakers, Flag presentations and local dignitaries.  Terri Utsey, Jay Fox, D.J. Garrison “T” Shamur and others will be singing patriotic songs along with special presentations by the Young Marines, Crossville Police Department, Sheriff’s Department and Fire Departments plus the DAR Parade and reading of the names of Soldiers who have given the ultimate sacrifice to keep this Country free.  A special Flag recitation by Tony Perry will be featured as well. Refreshments will be available.  The ceremony gets underway at 9am and will continue till 1pm at the War Memorial Park and Cumberland County Courthouse Lawn.  The weather promises to be great and everyone is invited to come out and support our Troops and celebrate the freedom our country enjoys because of their service.
