There was plenty of activity on I-40 this afternoon which caused a lot of inactivity for drivers.  A three vehicle wreck west bound near mile marker 307 was a chain reaction type pile up and no one was seriously injured.  Then there was this car.  According to the THP, this car caught fire from some kind of mechanical malfunction at the 297 east bound mile marker.  THP told us the occupants were able to get out safely and no one was injured in that incident either.
