Newly appointed DOS Janet Graham

In their continuing efforts to get a new Director of Schools in place before the current DOS leaves, the Cumberland County Board of Education is meeting tonight in a special called meeting at 6pm to discuss the contract for the new DOS, Janet Graham.  Graham has already been voted in as the new DOS but now the Board must negotiate her contract. There is the base salary of $100,000 to $105,000 to discuss along with a possible performance bonus pay for Ms. Graham as well as the term of the contract.  The Director of Schools is the second highest paid county employee with the current DOS Andrews getting $115,000.  The position of County Judge is the highest at $161,000.
