There have been reports of security patrol impostors in the county – specifically the Cumberland Cove area.  A woman reported that she had been stopped by two men wearing uniforms in a small white car.  She said the car had a Cumberland Cove Security logo on the side of the car.  The impostors let her off with a warning for a ‘light’ violation but were very rude to her.  According to reports, there have been others stopped by the impostors.  There are four ‘real’  Cumberland Cove Security vehicles, all are black with red and blue lights. Police say if you’re stopped by any other type of vehicle you should report it immediately to the Sheriff’s Department.  931-484-6176
