FROM CROSSVILLE/CUMBERLAND COUNTY CRIMESTOPPERS:

image2993On 2/06/2016 a white female entered the Crossville Walmart and selected several items. The suspect then located a store employee in electronics and told her that she (the suspect) was an employee for Walmart somewhere else and that she was not happy with the service they were providing her. The suspect asked the associate to take her to the front of the store and check her out. The suspect used a cash card that was first denied. The suspect then reached over the register and had the associate hit certain buttons to make the transaction go through. The sale was rang up as cash sale. The suspect was able to leave with $2,319.84 in merchandise, with another suspect, a white male. Surveillance footage captured the woman and a male suspect leaving in a 2008 or 2009 gold Ford Escape with Indiana tag XFP471. There was a Rebel Flag bumper sticker on the lower left corner of the hatch. There was also a firefighter sticker on the lower right window of the vehicle. Walmart believes the suspect has hit two stores in Knoxville and one in Cookeville.
