CROSSVILLE BUSINESSMAN KILLED IN KENTUCKY TRUCK ACCIDENT

ScreenHunter_163 Jan. 14 20.54A Crossville man was killed in a 1-vehicle accident in Adair County Kentucky.  The Kentucky State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement responded to the single vehicle accident that occurred Friday at approximately 12:53p.m. 1 mile south of Columbia on KY 55. The preliminary investigation indicated that 66-year old James M. Braden of Crossville, Tennessee was operating a 2000 Freightliner flatbed traveling south on KY 55 when his vehicle ran off the roadway where it overturned.  Braden was pronounced dead at the scene by the Adair County Coroner.

Mr. Braden owned and operated a rock quarry and stone cutting facility just outside Crossville.  He was the designer and manufacturer of a stone cutting machine for sawing veneer stone known as the Mighty Stone Saw.
