Hayleigh Wilson has been missing since Monday, June 22. She left her Surgoinsville home to be with Benjamin Shook, 41, and witnesses reported seeing them last week at a campground near Sugar Grove, Va.

An AMBER alert was issued last week.

Hayleigh is 5 feet 5 inches and weighs about 150 pounds. She has brown hair, hazel eyes and sometimes wears glasses.

Shook has brown hair and blue eyes, and also sometimes wears glasses. He is 6 feet 3 inches and weighs about 190 pounds. He also has a scar on his left leg and tattoos on his arms, chest and legs.

He is wanted for failure to register as a sex offender.

It’s thought they met on the Internet.

If you have information on their whereabouts, call the nearest U.S. Marshals Service office or the U.S. Marshals Service Communications Center at 800-336-0102.
