15-YEAR-OLD BOY CHARGED WITH KILLING ARMY SOLDIER ON LEAVE IN HARRIMAN

IMG_2215_1472519123589_5874642_ver1.0_320_240Twenty three-year old Marstratton Gordon was shot and killed Sunday after a fight in Harriman. A 15-year-old is charged in connection with the shooting death.

District Attorney General Russell Johnson and Harriman Police Department Assistant Chief Kenny Humphrey say the shooting happened at about 7:35 p.m. at a home on Byrd Avenue.

Gordon was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Authorities believe Gordon was on leave and visiting his girlfriend. They say there was a fight, and Gordon was shot by the 15-year-old. Gordon died from a single gunshot.
