$10,000 WORTH OF COPPER STOLEN FROM VERIZON CELL TOWER SITES

yhst-18711434844524_2263_94296678Forget air conditioners and radiators, these thieves went for the gusto.  Verizon Wireless says thieves stole over $10,000 worth of copper ground bars from two different cell tower locations.  Both of the sites are in the eastern part of Cumberland County, Futrell Lane and Godsey Road.  Authorities are investigating the theft currently but have no leads thus far. Note: If the copper bars were being calculated face value of copper – $10,000 worth would weigh over three thousand pounds – or one and a half ton worth of copper.
