VIDEO: PROTEST TURNS CONFRONTATIONAL ON CROSSVILLE MAIN STREET

A group of protesters moved their message to Crossville’s Main Street this afternoon.  Shouting “I Can’t Breathe” the protesters came up Fourth Street and crossed over to the Courthouse side of Main.  A city police cruiser pulled across main street to stop traffic as the protesters crossed over.  Once on the Main Street sidewalk, the protesters held signs and shouted “I can’t breathe” and “George Floyd” as traffic drove by.  There was a smaller group formed across the street from the protesters who seemed a bit agitated at the ‘I can’t breathe’ protesters and a shouting match soon ensued.  The two groups yelled across the street between traffic.  Due to the traffic it was hard to understand exactly what the words being exchanged were.  City Police were standing by watching the groups.  Both groups disbanded after about ten minutes.
