(VIDEO) AN AMAZING THING HAPPENED AT A TN HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAME LAST NIGHT
We ran across an interesting video posted by Darryl Deason in Middle Tennessee. We reached out to Darryl to tell us more about the video and this was his reply, and his video.
Baylor Bramble is a 16 year old junior football player at Siegel High School. He started for the first time on Friday October 23rd at an away game with Warren County High School in McMinnville, TN. During the fourth quarter he came off the field complaining of a severe headache and the trainer laid him on the ground and immediately started physical movement and strength tests. During the tests he began having seizures and by the time he was in the ambulance he was completely non responsive. He was life flighted to Vanderbilt University Hospital where he was immediately rushed into surgery. The parents were told after the surgery that it would take a miracle to save him. The community immediately jumped into action with numerous prayer vigils, printing of t-shirts, bracelets and bombarding social media with #Pray4Baylor. The story has been featured on ESPN and regular updates are being provided in USA TODAY. Last night in a home game against Coffee County High School the opposing team warmed up all wearing #Pray4Baylor Shirts. During the coin toss the Siegel captains were on the field holding Baylor’s #33 jersey. The Siegel team won the coin toss and elected to defer and kicked off to CCHS. The Coffee County player caught the ball and took a knee at the 33rd yard line. With only 10 players on the field for Siegel on the next play the Coffee County QB took a knee again and the sack was credited to Baylor Bramble. At that moment every team member, coach, and cheerleader went to the middle of the field for a prayer which is what you see in the video. There has been absolutely no response or movement from Baylor all week with the results from an MRI on Monday being very poor. We received a prayer request from Baylor’s father, David Bramble, last night to pray specifically for a better MRI result that will be ministered in the morning. We have received word from David via Twitter that Baylor moved his arms this morning but not on command. The Brambles are requesting that prayers continue. The video that you saw was posted about 7:15pm last night and has now been viewed 122K times.
