TWO KILLED IN SEVEN CAR CRASH ON I-40 IN KINGSTON THIS MORNING
2 people died this morning when the van they were riding in slammed into the rear of a tractor-trailer on Interstate 40 at the eastbound 356 mile marker in Kingston . The accident happened around 9 am today where 7 vehicles were involved in a chain reaction crash just east Gallaher Road shutting down the interstate at the scene for nearly 3 hours. The 2 people in the van had to be extricated from the wreckage by members of the Kingston Fire dept. The THP said the likely cause of the chain reaction crash was blinding sun.
