It was reported yesterday that there was an incident at Pleasant Hill Elementary involving a student with a weapon.  Deputies were called to investigate the situation which occured around 3pm.

According to Director of Schools Ina Maxwell, there was an incident on a school bus involving two students. The weapon in question was a knife and according to Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department it was a minor incident and the investigation will conclude today.  There were no injuries reported.
