QUITE POSSIBLY THE BIGGEST CONCERT EVER IN TENNESSEE, COMING NOVEMBER 16TH TO NEYLAND STADIUM
The Garth Brooks stadium tour announced it’s scheduled to make a stop at Neyland Stadium on Saturday, November 16th.
This marks the first concert at Neyland Stadium in 16 years.
“This is an incredibly special opportunity for the University of Tennessee to host an event of this magnitude,” UT Director of Athletics Phillip Fulmer said. “I’m grateful to Garth Brooks and his team for working with us o host what is going to be an epic night in Neyland Stadium. I know we’ll have a packed house, and ‘The Third Saturday in November’ will go down as a can’t-miss spectacle that fans will never forget.”
Tickets will be on sale Friday, September 13th at 10:00 AM and will cost $94.95.
There are only 3 ways to purchase tickets: atticketmaster.com/garthbrooks or on the Garth Brooks line at Ticketmaster, 1-877-654-2784 or through the Ticketmaster app on your phone.
There will be no ticket sales at the venue box office or Ticketmaster outlets on September 13th.
The Volunteers have an open date the day of the concert (Nov. 16) and play a road game on Nov. 23 before returning to Neyland Stadium to host Vanderbilt for the regular-season finale on Nov. 30. That means the event won’t interfere with Tennessee football.
The university has made plans to restore and re-sod the field beginning on Monday, Nov. 18, and expects the playing surface to be well established and playable when Tennessee kicks off against Vanderbilt.
Since the concert will be ‘in the round’ there could be more than 100,000 in attendance, making this the largest concert ever in the State.
