According to Rob Reburn who’s the TDOC Public Information Officer for East TN- An isolated incident did occur Thursday where an inmate attacked a Correctional Officer at the Morgan County Correctional Complex in Wartburg. His identity was not released, but was flown via Lifestar to the hospital where the officer’s injuries are listed as non-life threatening.  The DA is investigating the incident.  The following is a post from Senator Ken Yager:
