The Eastland community, located at the Cumberland and White County line, is in shock today at the tragic news of what appears to be a murder-suicide yesterday.  The call came in to the White County Sheriff’s Department Wednesday morning that there were two bodies lying next to each other on the front porch of a residence on Eastland Road.  When authorities arrived on the scene they found 35-year-old Jammie Meadows and 36-year-old Andrea Kirby White in a pool of blood on the porch.  After investigating further, it appeared to be a murder-suicide.  According to sources, both Jammie and Andrea lived at the residence and were in a relationship.  This is the second murder-suicide in the area in a week.  A married couple were discovered dead from gunshot wounds in Monterey Sunday
