CMC ER SLAMMED AGAIN, COVID UP FROM 2 TO 86 CASES IN 21 DAYS

Just as it seemed we were about to get over this whole COVID Crisis – Cumberland County is now on the rise with new cases being reported – and rapidly. In the past 21 days there has been an increase of 84 cases reported in the county.  And once again, CMC ER is being slammed with patients.  Over 90 patients were seen Sunday in the ER with 16 of those being admitted.  More than 50 patients left without being treated due to the long wait time in the ER.  CMC is again working around the clock to see a large number of patients coming with COVID-19 symptoms along with the other non-COVID patients.   One of the problems facing CMC is the lack of help.  The hospital has been on the hunt for employees for months now – but it’s increasingly hard to find workers.
