Chris Daughtry’s step-daughter, Hannah Price, was found dead presumably in Nashville last Friday.  We say presumably because the investigation seems to be centered in Fentress County. There was no explanation given by authorities as to what caused her death. At the same time, Hannah’s boy friend, Bobby Jolly was arrested in Fentress County Tennessee.  Again, no information was given why he was arrested.  Next, TMZ reported that detectives had advised Hannah’s death was being treated as a homicide.  Speculation began building concerning the connection of Hannah’s boy friend being arrested with her death.  Was he arrested in connection with her death?  Today, the District Attorney has issued a statement saying “calling Hannah Price’s death a homicide is premature and that the investigation is ongoing – in Fentress County”.  Meanwhile, Bobby Polly who was arrested in Fentress County is now in jail in Putnam County Jail who says they are not the ones who arrested Jolly.  Here is the DA’s Statement:

District Attorney General Jared Effler, whose district includes Fentress County, said the Fentress County Sheriff’s Office and the Regional Forensic Center began the investigation into Price’s death on Friday.

“This is a death investigation and any attempt to classify it as a homicide investigation at this time is premature and irresponsible,” Effler said in a news release. “Further, no one has been arrested pertaining to the death of Ms. Price.”

Bobby Jolly, Price’s boyfriend, is a native of Rockwood in Roane County.

Then Putnam County Sheriff’s department said this today:

“He [Jolly] is at our facility for a completely unrelated situation,” said Houston Hamblin, the public information officer for Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. Hamblin also said it was not Putnam County who arrested Jolly.

Sources close to the family told News 2 Hannah lived in Monterey, a small city about 90 minutes from Nashville. Someone reportedly showed up at the house Monday, picking up items from inside. It’s unclear who the woman is or how she may be related to Hannah, but she reiterated to News 2’s Stephanie Langston that this is not a homicide investigation.

The same day as Hannah’s death investigation began Bobby Jolly, who acquaintances described as Hannah’s boyfriend, was arrested on unrelated charges. Jolly was arrested in Fentress County Friday on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on charges out of Putnam County from April 2021, after an apparent road rage incident. The Tennessee Highway Patrol said the driver reportedly shot at another vehicle in the case. THP said Jolly, who was behind the wheel, and Hannah were both arrested in the case. Jolly was in a Putnam County County Court Monday facing four charges from the incident, including aggravated assault.
