HARRY SABINE PRESENTS BILL HALL WITH WINNING PLAQUE

After a full day of mind draining chess games, one after another,  Bill Hall was victorious in winning the  title of  Cumberland County Chess Champion. Bill went  5-0 to win. An event sponsored by Cumberland County Bank, once again Bill will have his name added to the plaque hanging in the bank. This is the 10th time Bill has won the  County Championship.  As impressive as that may be, he is still one win behind Harry Sabine who holds the record with 11 wins. Bill is recognized with the titles of County Champion, State Champion and Team National Champs.
