278th SOLDIERS REQUEST HAND WARMERS FROM CROSSVILLE, DETAILS

Back in July, soldiers with the 278th departed Crossville for Poland. Thanks to many generous donations, every month since they have been deployed a care package has been sent to 110 soldiers with various personal items. This will continue until they are back home. Now the soldiers have a specific request because of the cold weather…..hot hand warmers. These are placed in gloves and shoes to keep hands and feet warm. They typically last 10 to 12 hours so organizers would like to give each soldier multiple sets. If you wish to donate hot hand warmers to send to the troops, you can drop them off at First National Bank of Tennessee in Crossville at 1386 North Main Street or at the Crossville-Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce on Main Street downtown by Friday, November 23.
