When Tennessee’s new budget takes effect July 1st it will include $5.9 million in funding for York Institute.
The good news announced earlier this week by Senator Ken Yager.
The appropriation for York includes $1,294,400 that was set to expire June 30th.
Senator Ken Yager praised the deal saying cuts in funding would have created financial hardships for the citizens of Fentress County.
