WHAT’S THE WEATHER FOR ECLIPSE GOING TO BE LIKE?

We’ve been tracking all the weather prediction sites for the past week to get an idea of what the weather will be like this Monday for the eclipse.  It’s looking better every day.  When we first started tracking the weather a few days ago, there was  40 to 50 percent chance of rain – meaning clouds would probably be blocking view of the eclipse for some of the viewing area.  But as the week has gone by, that chance has dropped almost hourly.  Now the forecast is ‘Clear” for the day.  Well almost.  There is still a 10 percent chance of scattered showers forecast on Weather.com but it’s only 4 percent chance at 1pm on Weather Underground, which shouldn’t be reason for much concern.  If the trend continues we should have a clear sky to see the historic eclipse.  However, there is a 100 percent chance of darkness around 1:30 Monday afternoon.
