PRESS RELEASE: CUMBERLAND COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

On March 23, 2017 at approximately 8:15PM Cumberland County E911 received an emergency call.  The caller stated that she had came to her home located at 191 Creston Road and discovered her brother-in-law and his girlfriend deceased in a bedroom.  The victims were identified as Micki English W/F age: 50 and Oscar Marquez H/M age: 44.  Investigators with the Cumberland County Sherriff’s Office, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and District Attorney’s Office responded to the scene to begin an investigation.  There are no signs of foul play, but the deaths are suspected to be a result from a drug overdose.  Both victims were sent to the State of Tennessee Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy.
