According to Sheriff Casey Cox deputies were attempting to serve a warrant on the suspect.  Cox told CNF the suspect was hidden under a crawl space beneath the house.  Deputies tried to get the man to come out when he apparently shot himself in the head. The suspect was airlifted to U.T Medical Center in Knoxville according to the Sheriff.  His name has not been released yet.  The homeowner was charged with obstruction of a legal writ. (warrant)
