UPDATE ON LITTLE BROC SELBY, BORN PREMATURELY AND NEEDING YOUR HELP

The fight isn’t over yet but little Broc Selby is giving it his all.  You may recall Broc was born prematurely, 25 weeks, to Britany Brun of Crossville and needed many blood transfusions.  CNF first reported this story on January 21st and asked our readers to donate blood to help little Broc fight his fight to live.  Broc is a little over two weeks old now and we are told many people turned out to donate blood almost immediately after we published the first story about Broc.  Family and friends want to express how very grateful they are for the support of the community.  Today, Broc is improving very slowly with each passing day in Children’s Hospital in Knoxville. Brittany posted this on her Facebook Page January 30th.

Broc decided to open his other eye to see momma today!??☺️ My heart is so full! He had a very rough evening yesterday, but is doing much better today!

ROUGH ROAD AHEAD

We understand Broc still is need of more transfusions and the family is asking any one who can to please donate at the Regional Medic Blood Clinic on Main Street in Crossville.  Broc is O-Positive blood type but O-negative is universal,

We at CNF would also like to thank the many readers who took the time to donate blood for little Broc’s sake in Crossville.  Broc still has a long journey ahead that’s going to be touch and go – but we think your support and prayers will get him through.  Again, we thank you.
