A Rockwood man was killed this morning after he was hit by an SUV on highway 70 east in Crab Orchard.  According to the THP report, an SUV being driven by 22-year-old Rebekah Cagley, also of Rockwood, was traveling west on highway 70 E around 5am when she suddenly came upon a man either walking or standing in her lane of the highway. The THP report says Cagley was unable to avoid hitting 45-year-old Kevin W. Price of Rockwood who died at the scene.  The driver of the SUV and a three-year-old child passenger were not injured.  No charges were filed in the incident.
