TWO AIRLIFTED FOLLOWING A SHOOTING

On November 20, 2020, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call involving a shooting off Butternut Ridge Road in the Rinnie Community. Two while males were driven from the scene after the shooting. One was taken to the Circle K Market and the other was a passenger in a car that hit a utility pole on 127 North. Both men were airlifted to regional trauma centers. The investigation is ongoing at this time and names are not being released. Additional releases will be made as information becomes available..
