TN NATIONAL GUARD TO AID CUMBERLAND MEDICAL CENTER
NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) – The Tennessee National Guard is working alongside medical personnel in centers across to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
Guardsmen started working in 10 additional medical centers on Friday and are assisting at 32 in Tennessee. At this time, the more than 310 Tennessee National Guardsmen support 24 hospitals and eight monoclonal infusion centers statewide.

It’s about time!!!! I was at CMC on 2 separate occasions and waited 7 hrs fir results which I never got and had to leave! Next time was 5 hrs and I was never seen,, again I left .

It’s not all covid patients, my 96 year old mother waited 37 hours in a chair in the ER lobby over the weekend for other issues and is now in a bed in the hall of the ER.

It’s troubling to see posts like yours that condemn the unvaccinated as the cause for all of the Covid problems in our county. First of all, if vaccines are effective, why are you so concerned with your own safety? Second, people are dying in the county from Covid that were vaccinated. Third, people who have been vaccinated have contracted the virus more than once, which is a concern as to the efficacy of a vaccine against multiple variants. Fourth, for people with certain medical conditions, the vaccine is more deadly for a particular age group than it is for actually getting Covid. Fifth, There’s mounting evidence that Covid has negative effects in the long term, which is especially true for younger women and men. Sixth, getting the vaccine should be an individual’s choice – not yours from uninformed pathetic posts. Please, educate yourself.
