THANKSGIVING DAY TRAGEDY STRIKES FFG DETECTIVE AND FAMILY
PRESS RELEASE: FAIRFIELD GLADE POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Fairfield Glade Police Department is saddened to announce that Detective James Dagley
and his family lost their home on Thanksgiving Day to a fire. Detective Dagley was returning to his home in Wartburg, TN after his shift with the Fairfield Glade Police Department when he was notified his home was on fire. His fiancé Delilah and two year old daughter were not at home at the time.
Unfortunately after looking at the home, FGPD Chief Michael Williams stated “there doesn’t look like there is much that can be saved and the home is almost a total loss.” Detective Dagley stated that he was “thankful that no one was home at the time and very appreciative of all the first responders in Morgan County that responded to the scene.” Deputy Caleb Pemberton with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office stated the family did lose their family pets in the fire. Chief Williams advised there was a donation account that has been setup at First National Bank of Tennessee to assist the family. If you would like to assist the family you may drop off a monetary donation to any First National Bank of Tennessee branch or you may drop off items at the Fairfield Glade Police Department.

What size cloths does the little girl wear? I have lots of my daughter’s gently used cloths that she’s outgrown that I would love to donate to help this family. We also live in Morgan County.

Gia age 2 wears a 2 T and size 6- 7 in shoes. They do not mind 3T or even 4T’s, we will save them for Gia.
Delilah wears 12-14 sports type clothing and 8 1/2 shoes
James Allen wears 2 XL t shirts and 44 x 30 pant. He also wears stretchy waist athletic shorts at home. Shoe size 10.5 wide shoe.
They lost all small kitchen appliances, dishes, pots and pans, etc
Bath towels etc. They’re very humbled by everyone’s outpouring of love and support. Things do not have to be new everything will be very appreciated. Thank you all for your support and love. We are so blessed no one was injured.
