Services have been announced for the child killed in a tragic accident Tuesday in Cumberland County.   3-year-old Carlisle Nillo was accidentally struck by a tractor trailer truck in the parking area of a truck repair business on Vandever road area.

Carlisle Nillo, age 3, was born May 5, 2014 in Cebu City, Philippines and passed away March 6, 2018 in Crossville. He is survived by his parents: Powell Douglas Simmons, Jr. and Janice Nillo Simmons; sisters: Jessica, Hannah, Gracie, and Chloe Simmons, and Kristin Winchester Davenport; grandmother: Olga Tirol; grandfather: Rodrigo Natad; grandmother: Debbie Simmons; uncle: James Michael Lachica; aunt: JoAnn Hoover; and several cousins and many loved ones. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Crossville. A funeral service will be held Friday, March 9, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church. Carlisle will be laid to rest in Akins Cemetery.
