One of Cumberland County’s best features is the Rowell Apple House on Highway 70 East.  Reggie Rowell and his family have been cultivating and harvesting many varieties of apples for the past 54 years.  Over 12 acres of a multitude of apple varieties and peaches. Current hours are Monday-Friday, noon-4 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Apples are offered in 1/2 peck, peck and 1/2 bushel bags, and the varieties change with the season.
