The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a construction accident that took the life of a Crossville man Saturday.

30-year-old Kenny Waddell of Crossville was working on a communication tower in Cookeville Saturday when a guy -wire stabilizing the tower snapped. Part of the tower came down with him on it.  Mr. Waddell was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
