POLICE: TENN WOMAN KILLED HUSBAND, STUFFED HIM IN A SHED
Officials with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said a homicide investigation is underway after a man’s body was discovered in a shed.
Officers with the Jefferson County and White Pine Police Department were called to 1707 Breeze Point Lane in Dandridge for an investigation of a missing person.
Police said the body of 50-year-old Rusty LeRoy Bybee was located in a shed on the property.
Following the investigation, Bybee’s wife, Julie Ann Pope-Bybee, 47, was taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder.
Pope-Bybee is currently being held in the Jefferson County Detention Center on a $1 million bond.
