The Fairfield Glade Police Department along with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency is requesting information regarding an incident of an illegally shot deer on Sunday, November 25, 2018. An unknown subject began shooting at a deer with a high powered rifle from the 7000 block of Peavine Road. The bullets traveled behind the roadside wooded area and struck a bench where people were gathering at the local dog park. Witnesses describe a full size dark colored Dodge Pickup truck as the possible shooter.
