NIKKI BURGESS’ ALLEGED KILLER IN COURT TODAY

9118740_GThe East Tennessee man charged in the death of Crossville native Nikki Burgess will be in court for a motions hearing on today.

Caleb Cannon has been in jail since October. The judge has not yet set a trial date.

Thursday’s hearing will revolve around some expert testimony in the case.burgess-e1432606146989

Earlier this year, Cannon’s defense attorney questioned the validity of cadaver dogs that sniffed around the trunk of Cannon’s car. Investigators believe the K-9s found traces of human decomposition.

Burgess’ body has not been found.
