The old saying goes “if you don’t like the weather around here, hang on…it’ll change”.  We’ve seen quite a variety of weather the last few days.  And today was no different –

The LeConte Lodge posted on their Facebook page that they’ve received six inches of snow on Saturday.

Temperatures on the mountain are in the mid 20s and it is windy. They also posted that US 441 re-closed due to ice and snow.  Of course LeConte is the highest guest lodge in the Eastern United States at 6,400 feet above sea level.
