Crews evacuated a half-mile radius around a tractor trailer fire this morning on Interstate 81 in Hamblen County, according to a county dispatcher. Shortly before 9 a.m., officials reopened the southbound lane of I-81 near mile marker 8. Northbound lanes remain closed.  The semi was carrying some kind of hazardous material when it caught fire. No word on what the specific material being hauled was.
