A huge explosion was felt for at least 15 miles from the source this evening around 8:30.  Reports are that it was some kind of  LP gas explosion at a house on Roma Drive in Foxfire Subdivision just outside Crossville.  Sources say the gas explosion cause the residence to catch on fire as well.   We understand there were people in the house but that they got out safely – with possibly one being taken to CMC with injuries. Seven fire units were on scene at this time.  The explosion and subsequent fire is being investigated.  The graphic shows the location of the explosion.
