CROSSVILLE POLICE REPORT:

On 11/1812021 at approximately 1415 hrs, city units were dispatched to Deerfield Dr in reference to a fraudulent report. Upon arrival, I made contact with (the victim). He stated that he had made a purchase on the website Waysle for the price of $67.44 for animated Skeleton banjo players on 09/28/2021. The merchandise was displayed as to be approximately 3 feet in height. The Waysle purchased arrived in the mail on 10/30/2021. When it arrived in the mail it was approximately 5 inches in height instead of the displayed height. (The victim) attempted to make contact with the website via phone call and by emails. The phone number is nonexistent and they have made no attempt to make contact back with the victim in regards to a refund. The website it believed to be a fraudulent website.
