BELOVED LIFELONG LOCAL GUITARIST – INSTRUCTOR HAS BRAIN CANCER, NEEDS YOUR HELP
For the past 43 years, Jack Jones has thrilled many with his mastery of the guitar. He has played in several bands over the years and taught guitar lessons on Main Street for the past 10 years. Jack’s amazing guitar playing has been featured on dozens of recordings produced at Star Recording Studio over the years. Last year Jack was diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer and had to give up playing and teaching guitar. His once superb guitar playing has faded away. His many students appreciated Jack’s patience and kindness during their classes. Anyone who knows Jack understands he is a gentle soul and has tremendous love for his Saviour – always bidding farewell to everyone with “God Bless You”…always. Jack has been in and out of a local assisted living home but now is back at his home. His health is deteriorating daily. He needs round-the-clock care but has no long-term disability insurance to cover the costs. A GOFUNDME account has been established to help fund medical care for Jack at his home or get him back into assisted living facility along with offsetting expenses he and his wife are encountering. If you can help, I know Jack would be deeply appreciative and would say – “God bless you”. CLICK HERE FOR THE GOFUNDME PAGE
Donations can also be taken to Star Recording Studio on Main Street next to the courthouse or First National Bank of Tennessee.

In Highschool I was one of his early mentors when Jack was in the 9th grade and myself in 12th grade..We played a gig in the Highschool gym and Jack was inspired by my guitar playing in an Alice Cooper song and a couple of others..I did play some with Jack in the late ‘70’s at a place in Crossville which I can’t remember now..A great guy and a fantastic guitar player..RIP in Peace Jack…Phil Jensen
