Bill Oglesby has been an integral part of the local insurance business in Crossville for many decades.  He has served as agent, manager and eventual partner in Brown Insurance Group.  Bill was retired along with his wife, longtime City Clerk, Sally Oglesby, who has served the City for 32 years.  They had plans of doing extensive traveling.  Bill became ill a few weeks ago with heart blockages.  He had been in and out of Vanderbilt and a local rehab center.  We learned this evening, Bill passed away this afternoon at Vanderbilt peacefully with family at his bedside. Services will be announced later.
