JAMESTOWN: HEAD-ON COLLISION SENDS TWO TO HOSPITAL, 3-YEAR-OLD ESCAPES SERIOUS INJURY

 

A head-on collision Sunday shortly after noon sent two Fentress county women to the hospital with serious injuries.  A three-year-old boy riding in the pick-up truck escaped serious injury.  The THP is still investigating the accident and has not made a complete summary of what happened other than the two vehicles were traveling Banner Roslin Road in southern Fentress County when they hit head-on.  The two drivers were identified as 42-year-old Tonya Crouch of Jamestown and 56-year-old Kathie Strong also of Jamestown.  Crouch’s three-year-old grandson was strapped in a car-seat in the rear seat of the truck when the collision occurred and was not seriously injured. The conditions of the drivers is not known at this time other than reports say both should make a recovery.
