A Crossville man has been charged with robbing a Cleveland, Tn., drug store and then trying to flee.

Terry Hassler, 43, was charged with aggravated robbery and evading arrest.

The incident happened on Friday afternoon (June 8th) At 4:33 p.m., the 911 Communications Center advised of an armed robbery in progress at CVS at 180 Keith St. SW.

Cleveland Police officers were advised that the suspect fled the scene in a white vehicle. Officers observed a vehicle fitting the description leaving the parking lot of the business. The vehicle turned northbound on Grove Avenue.

Hassler worked at his family owned business, Dave’s Pawn Shop in Crossville.
